How I Prepare for a Deep, Real Podcast Conversation
Preparing for a Real Talk Revival episode has taken a lot of effort. I’ve been back and fourth sooo many times on how I wanted to start my podcast episodes. I just recored, listen, and delete. I felt like it wasnt good enough. Like it needed to sound better, be better, overall…not me. I then realized the best way to overcome self doubt, was to push through and take the leap.
Picking up the mic and talking came somewhat naturally. Hearing my own voice, well that just felt awkard and “uncomfortable”. I not only recorded more, I listened to myself with an open-mind, and put myself in a listeners state of mind. I did notice some of my flaws and made some adjustments. Hearing myself repeating “um” drove me insane. So I had to start correcting myself, but overall this is a real podcast.
This is Real Talk Revival. We are all human, and humans mess up. Its in our nature to do so, because its how we learn…from our mistakes.
